After hearing Trisha Potts update on the fundraising plans for LEO’s Haven Children’s Park at our breakfast meeting this morning (Feb. 2) at MacKenzie’s Bar & Grille in Pasatiempo, Club President Richard Emigh and Crab Feed Chairperson Jeannene Rawlsky of the Kiwanis Club of Surf City - Santa Cruz presented Trisha with a check for $2,500 to fund the cost of a Boogie Board climbing/balance feature for the all-inclusive park. Trisha’s neighborhood group hopes to raise the necessary funds to complete the Park, which is being designed to allow full access to all of its features by disabled children, by the summer of 2018.
