Surf City Santa Cruz Kiwanis Club History:
The Surf City Santa Cruz Kiwanis Club was founded in 1961 . The club began with just 25 members and grew to its maximum membership of 50. Over the years, the club has held many fundraisers, including crab feeds, western dances, calamari booths and other events. The Club helps out in the community in a variety of ways, including sponsoring youth groups, raising money to benefit children and children support groups, and providing college scholarships. The club has enjoyed a rich history over the years, with its members coming from many fields, including accounting, civil service, education, management, medicine and many more.
